Dr. Adam Dubé joined LEARN Quebec's ShiftED Podcast for the first episode of its new season to discuss a big question: What does technology actually change about learning?
The conversation explores how children learn with technology, what happens when AI can talk back to learners, and how students understand what AI knows and can do. Dr. Dubé also discusses some of the challenges AI is creating for schools, including assessment, academic integrity, and deciding when technology actually supports learning.
A central theme of the conversation is one that guides much of our work at the TLC Lab: rather than asking whether technology is good or bad for education, we need to ask under what conditions it actually helps someone learn.
